July: National Recreation and Parks Month

Get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather!

The official purpose of National Recreation and Parks Month (designated in 1985) is to invite everyone to participate in outdoor leisure activities. It is a time for you and your family to get outside and enjoy the sunshine by visiting our nation’s beautiful parks – community parks, state parks and national parks.

July is an ideal time for everyone to rediscover the fun of outdoor recreation – hiking, biking, swimming, exploring, discovering…

A huge thank you to all park’s employees who make our park experience enjoyable and unforgettable.
