Get Organized & Increase Productivity in 2019
“The only impossible journey is the one you never begin.” ~Anthony Robbins
Are you suffering from over abundance–too much stuff, too much to do, too many demands and very little time?
What changes do you wish to make during the coming months?
Are you ready to grasp possibilities?
If you are ready to enter through the doors of possibilities, then I challenge you to try something different this year by acquiring the only thing you truly need—a new attitude toward life. It doesn’t matter if your new year’s resolution is to loss weight, achieve physical fitness, get out of debt, change career, start a new project, finish what you started, live simply, declutter, establish a peaceful haven, learn a second language, travel the world… This is the year to discover an attitude of gratitude.
Complaining has been around forever and ever and not very effect in living a life that matters. Complaining bogs you down and saps your energy while you drag others down with you. Complaining about the mess you are in, or the disorganization around you, or all the things you do not have and cannot afford, will do nothing to change the situation. Moaning and groaning just brings forth more moaning and groaning. Negative energy creates a downward spiral.
Life is a gift. What you do with yours is up to you.
It is time to change the paradigm by becoming aware of your abundance, the gifts bestowed upon you — all those things you now have that once were just a dream.
Have you ever calculate the amount of time wasted hashing over all that you do not have? What about the feelings you are left with after you lamented about your situation? The desire to have more and do more cripples your ability to live a creative, joyful existence. Take some time over the next few days to think about this:
Do you have what you need, and do you need what you have?
For the next 30 days, establish a mental workout to accelerate your state of gratitude. Here’s how to get started. Pull out a notebook and pen; you are going to create your Attitude of Gratitude list:
- Write down all the people you love to be around.
- Write down all the items you are thankful to possess—items that are useful, items that bring beauty, items that are treasured.
- Write down how you plan to spend your money and how much you plan to save in the rainy day fund.
- Write down everything that elicits a feeling of thankfulness.
- And, leave room to add more things as the months move along. You will beam with joy when you review this list at the end of the year.
And here is what must be eliminated from your daily life:
Instead of pining for things to get better, be grateful for what you already have. Take the challenge to create a new attitude this year. Journey down the road of endless opportunities as you get organized and more productive.
The more I have, the more I want.
The more I want, the less I have.
The less I have, the less I want.
The less I want, the more I have.
Designate the Year 2019 as your opportunity to experience appreciation on a daily basis. Stop bemoaning the past or worrying about the future. Live in the present with a thankful heart!
